Schwazer: urine contain only one DNA. The conspiracy theory falls apart.

The RIS of Parma (italian gendarmerie) has completed the verification of DNA by detecting the profile of a single person, identical for both sample A and sample B. It is the first result of the analysis on the content of urine that led to the second doping disqualification of Alex Schwarzer. The last check of correspondence with the DNA that will be extracted in these days from the saliva of the former south tyrolean athlete, is still to be held.

The conspiracy theory then begins to lose pieces, at least as regards the addition of another person’s urine; except for an unlikely replacement of all urine, hypothesis among other things never taken into consideration even by the defensive staff of Schwazer, the last comparison of DNA will be just a formality.

From the newspapers of Alto Adige stol.it and tageszeitung.it, it is also given the news that Judge Walter Pelino has asked the expert of the court Prof. Marco Vincenti, to carry out a further analysis to verify whether both samples are toxicologically coherent or not. In practice, the reliability of the antidoping test in Cologne will be checked again and whether there are any differences that could explain any manipulation. There is therefore a further extension of the time to conclude this grotesque affair.

It should be remembered that at the beginning of 2017, as emerged from the emails stolen by the Russian hackers of Fancy Bears, the experts gathered in Orbassano (Turin) with Prof. Vincenti to examine the documentation of the anti-doping analysis of Schwazer, had already agreed on how the total of the steroid profile and the low level of epitestosterone were consistent with an oral intake of a low testosterone dose of at least a week. Furthermore, considering the chemical characteristics of the urine, an external manipulation had already been considered highly improbable.
